The world of the redfish (the Sciaenops ocellatus – Red Drum) is a magnet for many fishermen. Scanning the water for the infamous spot-tail is the highlight of many fishing adventures. Making the cast in windy conditions, sun-glare, without spooking the fish – make for a great challenge. The hook-up is an explosion of success. As fine table fare as well, the redfish for many is an occasional meal. For others they are sated with the exultation of the catch-and-release. No matter how you enjoy the Redfish, they are a delight in any season they are sought.
We hope you enjoy this panel and the accompanying verse and layout. Here’s, Keene Eye Tide. Enjoy.
